I’ve only just finished this knife, (3/3/2026) and posted quick ad. Measurement details to follow and a leather sheath to be made.
Type: Hand-forged modern style Bowie knife
Blade: High carbon steel, (5160) hardened and tempered.
Blade length: 290mm
Overall length: 415mm
Grind: Full flat with clip.
Guard and collar: Stainless 416
Handle : Australian Eucalyptus, (Redgum)
Sheath: Hand-crafted veg tan leather. (Yet to be made)
*Baz has been making knives since 2013. Since 2018, he has been working full-time as a professional bladesmithing instructor at Australia’s leading bladesmithing school. His home is also a fully equipped bladesmithing workshop, upgraded with sword-making hardware in 2025. All blades are 100% hand-made by Baz alone.
