Trailing point utility knife

AUD$760.00

*San mai is three layers of steel forged together to make up the blade. The core is typically any kind of hardenable steel, while the outer layers can be anything. In this case, I have chosen 15n20 and 1075. Both high carbon steels that are very similar, but with the addition of nickel in the 15n20, the layers rate of patina over time differs. Often this will cause the core material to darken while the side material stays shiny.
